RANGE is a crowd-sourced forecasting platform powered by the Bertelsmann Foundation and Bertelsmann Stiftung offering accurate, credible and forward-looking insights on global issues of importance to governments and the public on both sides of the Atlantic.

Space has emerged as an issue that transcends national politics, playing a pivotal role in advancing security, economics and science for all humankind.  Recognizing this, the Bertelsmann Foundation in collaboration with the European Space Policy Institute have convened a series of foresight workshops. These workshops have resulted in forecasting questions designed to strengthen international collaboration in space governance, promote impactful policy making, and raise broader awareness of the future of space exploration.
